ABOUT THE BUSINESS

Hello! I'm Emily, a 40-something former theatre teacher turned school counselor turned independent boutique owner. When I discovered I was pregnant in the Spring of 2018, I decided it was time to launch my side hustle into a full-time boutique in order to be able to stay home with my son, who was born in early 2019.

But why a boutique? In my 20s I was awkward with no fashion sense what-so-ever, but then the day came....my first real professional job. I'm a creative type, who loves to find ways to express myself, and the typical business wear just wasn't cutting it. I wanted to find a way to express my personality while looking put-together, and finding clothes that worked for my body type.

Through this journey, I came to discover I really do love clothes, but more importantly, I loved the feeling of putting on a outfit where I felt fabulous. It gave me an extra pep in my step and confidence as I went through my day. Eventually friends starting asking me for advice and styling tips, and that grew into a passion for helping women put the fun back into their closet through playful and inspired clothing and accessories.

I want women to feel trendy and confident in their everyday lives, whether they are heading into a business meeting or walking down the aisles of Target with their toddler. We all deserve to feel bold, beautiful and confident.
